The Royal Panda is privileged to lead you into the world of Chinese foods.  With each different region in China, there are unique flavors and styles of cooking.  Here, we introduce the four main regions of China: Shanghai (Eastern Chinese Style), Canton (Southern Chinese Style), Hunan (Western Chinese Style – including Szechuan), and Beijing (Northern Chinese Style).

Chef: San Lien Wu

Our chef selects Chinese food, which represent the various regions of China.  He has more than thirty years of experience with cooking in some of the finest Chinese restaurants.  In Taipei, he served with the Double Happiness Restaurant, Brother Hotel, and Ahuopa (Green Leaf) Chinese Restaurant.

Here in Memphis at the 1995 exhibit of “The Imperial Tombs of China,” Chef Wu was invited for the demonstration of the Arts of Chinese “Noodle Pulling” & “Fruit Carving.” Chef Wu is the only Chinese chef in Memphis that knows how to do the “noodle pulling.” Channel 3 and Channel 5 covered this event.  Our chef and our staff welcome you and hope you have a pleasant and delicious meal.  Enjoy!
